You said yes to the brow!! You will be so happy you did. Clients are always amazed at the confidence booster this can be for you. Before your appointment, we want to get you as ready as possible, so here's the SCOOP!
Microblading results can create amazing-looking eyebrows; although most people benefit from this procedure is not recommended for everyone. To prevent any complications relating to your overall well-being, please review all the information below:
Along with the formal side of things, we want to properly prepare you for your microblading appointment to help you achieve the best possible healed results, so be sure to prepare accordingly.
Let's get you ready!
Babies and children can't be present during your appointment, so please make necessary arrangements in advance.
The average microblading appointment usually takes two hours from beginning to end. We make sure that you're comfortable through every step of your eyebrow transformation
We will numb you before your treatment, so you should feel little to no pain.
Feel free to come to your microblading appointment with your full makeup on, especially your eyebrow makeup. It can be helpful to see your made-up brows for a color reference when choosing the right ink color for your brow transformation.
Pictures - Microblading before and after pictures are a great way to see your brow transformation, so we snap a few quick pictures of your eyebrows before getting started, and then a few more after they've been microblade
Consultation - This most likely will be done the same day as treatment. We both have to be on the same page regarding eyebrow shape and color to give your brows the look you want. Hence, there is a heavy emphasis on understanding your expectations and helping you know what results are possible through microblading. We want you to leave happy with the results you want
A 6-week Touch-Up appointment is free. We allow some time with this as we know our daily lives can get buy. We allow an additional two weeks, but it must be done within eight weeks of your first appointment; otherwise, additional charges will be added and considered a regular touch-up session.
PRE-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATION If you are worried about allergic reactions to the ink, you may come in at least a week before to do a small patch test. This is not mandatory; however, if you are a person with very sensitive skin and or have a history of allergic reactions, an allergy test prior to a procedure is recommended.
TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR BROW TREATMENT
1. Brow enhancing/ conditioning/ growth products must be stopped three weeks before any brow or eyeliner procedure and not used for three weeks after the procedure. 2. No Botox 3 weeks before/ 3 weeks after. Botox may alter the shape of the brow and distort the results. 3. No Retinol or Vitamin A skincare products 3-4 weeks before/ 3 weeks after the procedure.
anti-aging/acne creams or serums containing acids as these will fade brows prematurely 4. No peels, microdermabrasion, or specific facials (those that cause resurfacing/healing of skin) 2 weeks before/ 3 weeks after. EXAMPLE of why we suggest this - chemical peels (brows will peel quicker due to chemicals traveling under the skin, therefore not retaining the color of the brow) 5. No tanning (sunburned face) 1 week before procedure/ Do not expose pigment to tanning after the procedure. 6. No tweezing or waxing one week before. No electrolysis or laser one week before. 7. No fish oils, Aspirin, Niacin or Vitamin E 48hrs before (blood thinners). 8. No alcohol consumption 48 hours before (blood thinner). 9. No caffeine 24 hrs before (can increase pain). 10. Eyebrows that are usually dyed should not be done within 72 hours before and three weeks after. You can take Tylenol before your procedure to help decrease soreness.
➢A deposit for your procedure will be collected to hold your date and is non-refundable
